Tatev
Operations & Local Relations
Tatev brings a native Armenian perspective to everything we do — both inside the country and to the wider world. She is a core part of our leadership team who keeps track of innumerable race details, bringing cultural fluency and understanding when navigating permitting, government agencies, and communication with racers.
Tom
Founder & Race Director
Tom birthed the idea for the Ascend Armenia race and has served as chief organiser, route planner, and advocate for this event since its inception. He plays key roles in administration, relationship planning, and government relations — directing the race each edition.
Stephen
Advisor & Former Race Director
Stephen has been exploring new challenges on two wheels for more than three decades. In 2021 and 2022 he rode and explored much of the course and the regions it passes through on scouting trips to Armenia. He served as race director for the 2023 edition and continues to offer advice and guidance from a rider and racer perspective.
